   LANDOWNERS
      OVERVIEW
The exploration and production of British Columbia’s natural gas and oil reserves may involve many activities, including geophysical activities, constructing access roads, well site leases and pipeline right-of-ways, as well as establishing necessary production facilities. In many instances, these activities may occur on privately owned lands.

To assist landowners in gaining a better understanding of the oil and gas industry, the role of the Oil and Gas Commission and the role of many other government agencies, the Oil and Gas Commission has established a web-page dedicated to landowner information. We hope that landowners find the information contained within this web-page useful in developing a better understanding of their role in oil and gas related activities, as well as providing information on other areas of interest.

This is a living site. We will be continually updating it. If you have any suggestions for improvement or additional informational resources, please contact a Stakeholder Relations Advisor at (250) 261-5700.
