Digital Submissions - ePASS

The electronic Petroleum Applications Spatial Submission (ePASS) application provides oil and gas companies the ability to submit the spatial components of surface rights applications (SRA) over Internet. Access to ePASS is available via the 'Login to OGC Web Applications' link on our homepage.

Application types that require spatial submissions via ePASS are:

Pipeline Applications – New, Amendment, Field Change (Revisions to all)

Other Applications – New, Amendment, Field Change (Revisions to all)

Section 8 Applications – New, Amendment, Field Change (Revisions to all)

Section 9 Applications – New, Amendment, Field Change (Revisions to all)

Facility Applications – New, Amendment, Field Change (Revisions to all)

Petroleum Access and Permanent Roads (inc PDR) – New, Amendment, Field Change (Revisions to all)

Geophysical Applications – New, Amendment, Final Plan (Revisions to all)

ePASS Test Site

To assist our industry clients, an ePASS Test submission site is now available through the OGC Test Website: http://platypus.ogc.gov.bc.ca/. This site will be run in parallel to the existing Production ePASS Submission to allow clients to freely test the standards and to become familiar with them. This is strictly a test site – no information submitted will be valid or used by the OGC in any way.
