Incidents

Industry must notify the OGC by calling 1-800-663-3456 about an incident such as an explosion, fire, line break, spill or leak. The incident operator will take your information and fax it to the OGC. They will also phone the OGC about the incident. OGC may phone the company to obtain more information if necessary. Regulations regaring spills are found in section 38 of the Pipeline Act.
